Oh!...I forgot to tell you all...

That I started my new job today!! YAY!!!!! no more unemployment title for me. But what else I forgot to share is that I am not that pesky telemarketer..(had troubles getting evening child care). All of a sudden after almost a month and a half of applying, I get a phone call for an interview for an assisted living facility.

Long story short...I went to the interview and went really great...was hired on the spot. So instead of working part time eves talking on the phone the whole time, I now get to work day shift full time helping and caring for the elderly and disabled. Which is a much better and more rewarding job IMHO. It also helps that I have about 4yrs experience under my belt so this line of work comes naturally to me. I LOVE IT!!!

Just wanted to share my good news and thank you all for all the previous good cheers and prayers and such.

BIG Congratulations to you, Tess, and a sincere thank you for what you do as well. I hope you are3 happy in your emplowment and that your 'lil old people' are the nicest in the bunch!

Err... having a 103yr old Grandmother who has become demanding and cantankerous, I know, firsthand, your job is not always easy- but it sure is a blessing!

I worked as an assitant maintnence supervisor for three years at a nursing home, those old folks loved me....there was never a dull day when I was around. I am proud to have made a difference in their lives.

I just want to say thank you to all of you for the congrats and well wishes.
It really means alot to me!

I made it through my second day...im sore because im not used to being on my feet foe almost 8 hrs straight and havent transfered residents and lifted them in a while either...but with some time and ibuprophen that too will pass!!

Thank you again and yes I cant wait to get my first pay check...dont know If I will go shopping or be responsible????....(probably the later...lol)
