I'm safe.  I'm OK.  In fact, I'm the only one from my work or my family who even felt it.

I'm inland and mid California.  Not sure where it originated yt.

Only a 5.4

Like the CalTech lady said, "Think of it as an earthquake drill".

Didn't feel it in San Luis Obispo.

I felt it but probably only because I work on the fourth floor. My husband was on the ground and didn't feel a thing. The building swayed a bit the lights hanging from the ceiling moved for quite a while. It wasn't the jolt or shake I associate with a strong quake.
No one even got up from their desk - except the new guy that had just moved to California.  Grin

Yep, it was centered in Chino, east Of Los Angeles.   Knocked some groceries off the shelf and ruptured a water line.  That's all.  This was no big deal for Californians.   Really.

I wouldn't know what to do if there was two feet of snow on the ground. Heck, we Californians can't drive when there's a quarter inch of rain.
