An update on David: He was transfered to Holy Family medical center close to O'Hare airport. After arrival he had to go back to ICU as he just cannot get off the respirator yet. They plan to slowly wean him off and figure it will take at least another 3 weeks before he starts back up on chemo.

Thanks for the concerns and contributions. You guys and gals are awsome.

David has finished his 3 week recovery at the Holy Family Medical Center after receiving 11 weeks of radiation. He will be moving in the next couple of days back to the University of Chicago Medical Center. Next week will commence his cemotharapy treatments for the next 12 weeks or so. The radiation did a pretty good job and reduced its' size by 1/3, but we need the chemo to do more.

The last 14 weeks has given us lots of scary moments, but David fought it out and did very well. Still a long uphill battle, but he has a strong will and desire to keep fighting and that's all we can ask. This is the final process so we can use vibes and prayers that the chemo works so he can improve his breathing and get off the ventilator.
