You love lots of things if you live around them. But there isn't any woman and there isn't any horse, that’s as lovely as a great airplane. If it's a beautiful fighter, your heart will be ever there

I am so glad to see someone besides me started this thread! That was absolutely the most incredible relay I've seen. It looked like France would get the gold and Phelps dreams of Spitz's record was over but by a mear hair Lezak out touched the French team and once again our men took back the gold medal status. If you missed it , I have no doubt it will be onthe news in the morning. The times were US 3:12.23 and France 3:12.36. That's close!!!

Pretty damn nice!

By the way; you've no doubt heard about the modification in the javelin scoring. Beijing's "mist" has created a new dimension. First you toss your javelin and then you are are timed on how quickly you can find it.  Shocked Cool

1st Wimbledon Final and now this.

Whats the chance Id say best tennis match ever and best swimming race ever in same year... let alone watch one of each.

This was an awesome race, made even better because the French anchor shot off his mouth.

You've overstayed your welcome since the day we met but it doesn't seem to matter to you.  No medications are your master, nothing makes you fret, it's a helpless feeling having nothing I can do
