These were taken at the *beanfield* part of the Wildlife reserve here (don't know why in the hell it's called the beanfield)

These are excellent quality pictures-

Have you had any close encounters with gators when taking pictures so close to the 'bayous' ?  Gators scare the crap out of me!!!

Don't have a lot of gators this far north.  Although, there have been a few, most of them are small and not big enough to eat a human.

Now, we do have mosquitos that have been known to carry off small dogs  Wink

Beautiful pics. Thank you.  D'Arbonne Bayou looks like an awesome place, mosquitoes or not.  Up here around our wetlands, we're no strangers to the not-so-little critters either.  But all that water makes it worth it.
