When Spam Filters Fail...
Aug 22nd, 2008 at 9:46am

Just thought I'd share something that gave us a laugh last night.

EJ's company is designing an interpretive exhibit for a small town in eastern Idaho.  Part of the design process is identifying and getting permission to use historic photographs for the exhibit.

Liz found a nice photo of a beaver pelt that she wanted to use in the section on fur trappers, so she wrote to the fellow who held copyright to secure permission.  After waiting for a while, she decided to check her spam to see if his response had gotten kicked out of the regular mail and ended up there by mistake.  Sure enough it had.

His e-mailed response was entitled, "Beaver Photo".

I guess the filter works.

Best,

George
