Wow.  The Guess Who is playing after you?
Looks like you have officially hit the big time.

Thanks, but hitting the big time would mean us playing after the Guess Who. Grin

If you were us, we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves. At least for the time you were we.

Seriously, this Saturday is going to be a really long day. We're playing the Harley gig from 3:30-4:30, but before that we have to dump our equipment off at a bar called Neighbor's a few blocks away because we're playing the post-gig party for Mongomery Gentry. The entire area will be open only to foot and motorcycle traffic all day, so we have to unload our stuff before they close the streets.

Then we go home for a few hours, rest, come back to play the main stage (all we have to bring is personal instruments - all amplification is supplied), and go home and rest for a few hours. Then back to Neighbor's to set up our stuff in time to play 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Montgomery Gentry is going to play a few tunes for the crowd at the bar with our stuff, then we finish out the night with a couple of sets.

I hadn't thought about it, but for this second show, Mongomery Gentry is opening for us. B$, maybe you were right.... Grin

You guys have the where within to keep plicking into events that would be a tremendous cost to a single parent home.  I envy your relationship, and hold your marriage as a thing to aspire to.

Envy may be a bit of weal word.  I'm jealous.  I wish I had the love, and life commitment you two have.

But I admire you both. Your love teaches me never to settle for less.

I hope that came across right.

Well, git on down here this weekend.

You and Jessie got access to a Harley?

(I'm kidding, of course. Kinda hard to tote an infant around on a motorcycle).

Jeez, Pegg.  Maybe you and I should get together and be jealous together.
