what is this plant?

it is taking over a corner of my yard. I'm asking becauser the last plant that did this well was a poke weed and we had to get rid of it because it was poisonous. Thanks, Charlotte

I have some that look the same, they overtake all the plants around it.

In could be wrong, (and I'm known to be when it comes to plants) but the wirery white floral reminds me of a version of a wandering Jew vine.

They are hearty plants that weather well indoors here in the Mid west. and if pinched back at just the right time, they make a lovely bushy vine that can crawl a trelis and hang the lovely blossoms towords the sunny windows. They die here over winters outdoors but there in Cali, they have a great climate for growth all year long.

I think it's kind of neat looking and would probably just let it go for a season to enjoy it.... but that's me. If you're afraid that it may be poisonous... use round-up on it. with warm regards, Tony

Snip it off at ground level. It's more democratic, less totalitarian.
