Photo Printer...which one?
Aug 25th, 2008 at 6:33pm

I'm researching a compact/portable photo printer.  I'd like it to print mainly 4"x6" prints.  Also....would like to be able to select and print pictures from my memory card.  I'm not sure how much I'd use it so am not looking to spend big bucks.

Suggestions please.

Thanks,
Jackie

Hi

When i look for a printer i look for 2 names Epson or HP, Epson is probably the cheapest option to buy but the inks are always expensive
i have gotten to the point where i dont replace the ink i just buy a new printer

Dont ask me, printers hate me and I hate them. I have never had one last more than six months before I beat it to death because it would not do what I want!

Jackie I have a Epson Photo R300, the ink is high if you buy it at Office max or Office depot. I buy mine off ebay by the bulk. I find the ink is a lot cheaper there and it works good. I love mine I can print any size pocket size  8x10 what ever I want. I love it !

I had HP photo printer some years ago and changed to Canon photo printer and have NEVER regret a second after that.
Its top quality and the ink is not that expensive either

I had an HP Photosmart which I loved, but sold it because I can't afford to keep buying ink cartridges.  My hubby's Aunt has a Kodak Easyshare she likes also.

I found that with my new HP all in one Officejet, it printed pictures just as good and the ink isn't so darn expensive since I use a refill kit.  Plus, I can print 8x10's if I need to (like for Eli's past "school pictures). Smiley
