My 3rd Year Smoke Free.....
Aug 30th, 2008 at 7:21am

Well technically it is Monday, but it was three years ago today (on the Saturday) I put down the smokes and went out and bought my bike and have not looked back or touched one since.

Our local bike shop is having it's annual one day Labor Day Sale and everything in store is 50% off so Angie and I are going shopping this morning!!!!!

Just wanted to share this anniversary with you guy's as this is an important day for me.

Have a nice weekend all!!! Smiley

Way to go!  I've been smoke free since 2/28/05!  Isn't it wonderful all the money you have now?

Congratulations Barry!!  That is quite a milestone.  I agree, you need to go out and buy yourself an anniversary gift with all that money you have saved.

You should be mega proud, bro. I wish I could say the same for myself, but im up to about 70 smokes a day. Its a good thing I get 02 for free, I may need it more than I do now in the future.

Good for you, Barry!!!  Smiley

Awesome Barry-  you should be very proud of yourself-  not an easy thing to accomplish and I'm sure you've been tested many a time!  Inspiring!

Thanks for all the congrats and encouragement. We did go shopping and bought some new fall bike clothing mainly and some body armor to help with the cuts and bruises we get from falling.

I made this decision to quit and have never looked back. I would be so disappointed with myself if I started smoking again.

Yes Charlie, I still have dreams that are so real of me smoking that when I wake up I am so relieved it was just a dream but leaves me in a depression for most of the day. Funny how the mind works. Huh
