Go Gov Sara Palin!!!

It has been a whirlwind around town with Gov. Palin on her way to the White House.
She has been a great Gov and we wish her all the luck from Alaska.

I posted a picture in the Editing Your Profile; How to post your pics post last Sunday for the fun of it, and had no idea of what was to come.

No one has looked at it since I posted it on the 24th, I got on today and thought someone had posted some kind of comment for sure....but nope.

Even though "Editing your Profile" is a bad neighborhood, I surfed down that way for a look-see. I must say, it was an eye-opener.

You never know, depending how things turn up, or not, she just may be what this country needs. BTW, I love the coincidence.

I have seen this photo spread around the world wide web, and the PETA people are having a hay-day with it!!

Just to clear up the furs....if anyone is offended...

The "Little Norway Vikings" are a fun, obnoxious and mischievous group that get together every May 17th to help our town celebrate our Norwegian heritage with a festival for 3 (long) days.
We have either done our own hunting, or friends and family to get 75% of the furs we have. The other 25% is faux-fur. The fur that Gov Sarah is wearing was put on her by one of our group when she was announced to speak. We all yelled and beat our shield's in our Viking manner. She smiled and laughed and went on with her speech. We then posed for the picture and then she gave the fur back.

Enough said.

(no animal rights activists were harmed in the taking of this photo...I think... Wink

)
