Help (ringtone suggestions)
Sep 5th, 2008 at 7:49pm

I am looking for suggestions for a ringtone for my mother and others who call me.  I plan on using different ones for different people.

Here are the ones I am using currently:

Brother: sound of phone from TV show 24
Mother/Father: Daughter by Pearl Jam
Wife: She believes in Me - Kenny Rogers
Friends: Gambler Kanny Rogers
Party in My tummy (Yo Gabba Gabba TV kids show)
Brothers House: Oh What a night (their wedding song)
Sister in Law: Im a Believer
Defualt: Time of your Life  Greenday

I have to find ones for mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister in law (younger), work,  Mother (she wants one for just her),

Any suggestions or idea are appreciated.  I have access to a ton of music of all types.  Please reply.......    Thank you ahead of time

(PS I like most styles of music and I do like a sense of humor)

Mother: "Nobody loves me but my Mother (and she could be jivin' too)"
                                                             BB King

Sister-in-law: A White Sports Coat, and a Pink Carnation" Marty Robbins

Father-in-law:  "Daddy Sang Bass"   Johnny Cash (not a country fan? I suppose "Poppa Don't Preach"  Madonna)

Mother-in law: Well, of course, "Mother-in-law"  Ernie K Doe  (forget the lyrics, it's a catchy tune)

Why not just look at the caller ID and answer it?

Because the ringtones are free and it saves me a step.  If I dont want to answer the phone doesnt come off the belt.  It is especially good at work where I am always busy talking to someone...... if it is someone important, I take it, if not.... voicemail.

Also, I like it.  It allows me to be creative and I enjoy it.

Now Jonny, any suggestions?

where are you getting FREE ringtones.. that doesn't happen with Verizon...?

I used to have Daves set at Wanted Dead or Alive... it would sing out "IM a Cowboy on a Steel horse I ride..."  Daves a tractor trailer driver so I thought it was appropriate... you should have seen me at the beach with my girlfriends when Dave called me about 6 times they were saying "hey its your cowboy"... I got a new phone now and piss me off... no ringtones... bummer...

When Brew calls me my phone plays "Who are You" by The Who, and when JrBrew calls it sounds like a doorbell (ding-dong).

When my MIL calls me, Jack Nicholson yells "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH" from A Few Good Men . . . . I'll let you draw your own conclusions from that.

My mother-in-law is one of the best people I have EVER met and very religious.  So I use a religious song for her.

that is perfect for both my sister-in-law and father-in-law (although my sister-in-law is awesome, I think shed get a kick out of that
)

As for my mother, I thought about Uninvited or Overkill but I like my mom and didnt think shed find it as humorous.

I think I might use "I Just called to say I love you" for my mom. Or dont stop thinking about tomorrow (Bill clintons campaign theme song)

Anyway... thanks for the suggestions so far  I got some of the songs listed above too
