Perhaps this has already been done in my absence. Those (especially just returning from battle), but those of other conflicts sometimes need someone who understands what the f**k they are going through in the long small hours. No doubt, there are CH people who also are dealing with the head noises and night willies. I have been AWOL for awhile. Forgive me.

You helped me through some of those small hours many many years ago when I was struggling.  I've not forgotten that.

As people deal with many things beyond their CH, the help they need comes in strange ways at strange times.  
Reasons are irrelevant, the need is important.

Don't think of yourself as AWOL, maybe a well earned and deserved leave of absence. instead??
Asking forgiveness is unnecessary (IMO), but seeing as you asked, of course.

I began this stupid thread thinking there must be some connection between CH sufferers and the physically and mentally wounded from all our wars.

I maintain that the cessation of pain is life's greatest pleasure. I did not write seeking compassion or pity from anyone, as I know so many who have sufferred and are sufferring so much more than I. Everyday, I wake up and my first thought is "another day of gravy!" I can't express how fortunate I believe I am. If there is ever anything I can do to help anyone, someone will know how to contact me.
