My fingers are crossed

We have an offer on the lake lot we have been trying to sell for the last year.

Not quite as much as we wanted, but what the hell. The way things are going right now in the market, we were glad to get the offer which wasn't to bad.

Now I can finally pay some old debts and actually "Get out of business" Thank God!

It's funny, it takes $20 and a piece of paper to go into business, and a lot of money and time to get out of it.

There should be some left so I can buy Barb something nice. Hmmm, I wonder if she would like a new outboard motor? Grin

Hopefully it doesn't fall through, please cross your fingers for us, K?

JImmers, I can relate!n We purchased a lot at the coast last July, and set about making our road to retirement. Well, even though I am IN Real estate, I am shocked at how well the plan is going......our first property took 7 months9as well as about 50K in price redux) in order to sell, now, we are thinking about our current residence...and the STOCK market, as well as the mortgage market has flummoxed that one! If I CAN'T even sell an entry level home in a timely fashion, I'm thinkin' I need to rethink my plan!
I DO wish you the very best of luck with your sale..........someone need to retore my faith!!

Yuck!
