Hey all. Just thought I would pass this along to anyone who might be interested. Conoco Phillips , in Woodriver Illinois is beginning construction on a MASSIVE new project. They will be hiring, (through the local halls) HUGE numbers of craft people. Pipe-fitters, boiler-makers, electricians, iron-workers and laborers. These jobs will last at least three years, and the refinery itself will be hiring another 100 permanent employees. These are good jobs, good benefits, with pay averaging 6 figures to just below that. Will they pay me the big bucks to just sit around and look pretty? (When I show up for work) (Do I have to show up more than once a month, for more than half a day?)

If they will take me on, under my conditions, I am there!

LOL Well at least its good to see they are doing something with those profits. When I worked shutdowns I worked for most of them at one time or another, good job, good pay, and decent benefits.
