Feeling fried...Now I have pneumonia....
Sep 26th, 2008 at 2:52pm

Hello Clusterville:

Just having a rough patch with CH being every 90 - 120 minutes since around 8 PM last night.  Prayers, vibes, and the like would be appreciated.

Hopefully this batch will resolve soon.  Wishing you all well!

Ray

Thank you Clusterville!

As the day wore on, I developed a fever and chills and bronchitis like symptoms.  I may go to an urgent care tomorrow for antibiotics if it's not somewhat better.

This too shall pass, and I love you all.

Wishing you well,

Ray

You've got my prayers, Ray, but I hope you already know that.  I had a similar situation two weeks ago.  Got hit pretty hard one day after being basically PF for a couple of weeks, then the next day fever, chills, aching all over, then the sore throat and cough.  The HAs stopped again and I just fought of a virus.  Hope that is all for you as well.

Update:

I went to the local "urgent care" and had a breathing treatment.  I was told that I have "asthmatic bronchitis" and 8 days of biaxin.

Wheezing a bit, but feeling more alive today.  CH is down from that high frequency to a few a day.  At this point, it looks like I'm a gonna live.

Thanks for all the goodness sent!

Thank you all!

Brief update.  Still wheezing and using an Albuterol inhaler.  CH is still at a few a day, not too bad.  I made it to church today and that lifted my spirits -- I like to go to church.

I hope you all are well!

Hey Ray. Remember that this will pass. I realize that in the middle of a cycle it is hard to see that but that is why you are here. Do what makes you feel better and if your release is church, by all means go to church as often as you can get there.
Hope today is better than yesterday.

Update:

This bronchitis is still kicking my butt.  I saw the Doc yesterday and he wants me to get a chest X-Ray done.  I'm off to get that today.

Wishing you all well,

Ray

Sorry to hear that, Ray.  You can't seem to catch a break.  A few years back I had pneumonia.  The antibiotics didn't help till I spent a day in the ER getting them through an IV. Do they plan to change the way they are treating you?

Feel better soon!

Ray, get better, don't mess around with pneumonia.  I had it 3 times, and it nearly killed me the last time.  Now, I regularly get the flu vaccine, and I get the pneumonia vaccine every 5 years.  I used to have chronic bronchitis, at least 1-2 infections per year but once I got the vaccines, it stopped entirely.
