Thanks Fubar and Jean.  I guess that's why I have been so beat.  I'm going to try to take it easy, but I am breathing better today.  Less wheezing is good, but my chest still hurts, especially when I cough.  I guess the antibiotics are doing something good!

Last friday, I had a 102 degree fever.  It was just that day.  I've had a 99.3 tuesday at the doctor's office.  Starting to feel better, but I tire out easily.

That's good!  Sounds like you are getting better.  It took me a LONG time to feel back to normal after my bout.  The cough lasted forever and my energy level was poor as well.  Hang in there!

Sorry to hear you're still having a tough time Ray.  When I had pneumonia it took me a good 2 weeks of rest before I was feeling better.  Hang tough.  Sending prayers and vibes.

Hugs,

Jen

Hey Ray,

Look at it this way...  If it weren't for all the bad luck, you wouldn't have any at all.  Please do be careful about the pneumonia...  It's also called the old man's friend for some very ominous reasons...  so take all the pills the doc gave you...  You'll need all the lung capacity you can muster to keep the beast at bay.

Hang in there and take care,

V/R, Batch

Hello everybody:

Each day, the breathing gets better and better.  I'm hardly using the 2 inhalers from the doctor.  The urgent care doctor prescribed Clarithromycen 500 mg.  My family doctor prescribed Avelox 400 mg.  Between them, I'm getting better.

I still tire easily and don't push it, and I've not been riding my bike.  The bike is my favorite exercise and is my primary transportation along with the city bus.  Although I'm getting a couple of night time hits, at least, I'm shooting for 8-9 hours of sleep.

What seems odd to me, the night before I got sick, I had those nighttime and first part of the day hits every hour and a half or so.  Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Ray darling,

You really need a kick in the pants to stop overthinging things.  You have been bogged down with illness, and to try to gain a "reason" for it all will only exhaust you more.

Yeah I know we CH'ers tend to get technical about it all.  BUT STOP IT.

YOU need rest now.  NOT another puzzle to be solved.  CH is what it is and sometimes there are no answers to all the questions.  (After 20+ years of this shit I still don't have the answers)

Rest Ray.  Put your energy to better use to get there.  The questions about the CH connection will be there when you have full energy to devote to that.  Right now you need to devote that energy to getting well and over this infection.
