Kids say the darndest things

I'm not really sure where to post this, so, I figured here would be good. XD

While I was evacuated from Ike, one of my cousins (who is 5) noticed my eye during one of my cluster headaches, and asked me what was wrong. I didn't really know how to explain it to him, so I just told him I had a headache, and it made my eye act kinda funny... And that I'd feel better in a little while, when he noticed my eye was open again, he asked me how my head was feeling.

A few days later he saw me having another one.

My left eye had already swollen shut as usual and I had been rocking a bit, since it was a full house, I really couldn't find a room that didn't have people, kids, or wasn't being used in it...

He looked at me and said "I love BOTH of your beautiful eyes." and I didn't know -what- to say but I thought it was just so damned sweet of him. I didn't expect that at ALL. It made dealing with other people being around just a little bit easier...

I felt the need to share this with ya'll.

As far as I'm concerned, cluster busting has been the best treatment I've tried. No migraines since I started it, and my hits have gotten so much better. Wanna know more?

That kid is a keeper.

I love the wonderful ways kids new to language find to express what is in their hearts.  It just throws you off and lifts you up.  It makes you really think about what they are seeing.

I'm glad you found some good support in such a stressful situation.
