Sep 30th, 2008 at 1:23pm

I got this video (YouTube) today……from a friend in the USA

Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

I wander are the one that call them self Democrats (in this Video)
real Democrats, or Communists in disguise?
I get worried when I get that feeling…….
Sorry I butt into the USA politics, but this has border effect then just
the USA….. and I am scared of communists / socialists, and even
more from the one that call them self social-democrats, liberals,
or what term have you…… and in real are socialists……
That is not the USA I admire so much!!!

Michael
(I am not going to engage in any argument, it is simply
how I feel and see things, but in no way lecture)

Michael, I would say the best thing to do, is go to Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register and click on what Democrat people are pushing for versus the other party's.  Then you could sort of get a feel of what direction they want our Country to go.

Here is the Wikipedia link explaining it more: Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register)

Michael,

that was an excellent find.  While it is partisan in scope, it tells the truth of what happened in our financial system.  Our federal government was limited in its scope and power by the Constitution of the United States, but since FDR it has taken more and more power and control.  Much of that has been engineered by the courts, but a lot of it has also been done through regulations put out by the buerocracies put in place by FDR and then added to by later administrations.  It is the old camel getting it's nose in the tent all over again.  I don't know if we can stop it now or not.

Political persuasions notwithstanding, we're always like this in an election year.  Always have been.  Politics in the US is a blood sport.  Each side proclaims that certain doom awaits if the other gets elected, and there is much scrambling, scratching, and clawing that occurs, and many Machiavellian machinations.  Believe it or not, this one's actually not so bad...

It's gotten a bit worse since the campaigns have begun stretching out for a year or more.

I have to commend the Canadians on their brief and more-or-less civilized national elections campaign--you'd almost not know there was anything going on up north.  Might actually be refreshing if ours were the same way, but we'd probably miss the catharsis.

Best,

George

Might be fun, but I wonder whether we'd get anything else done.    Wink

Hmm... a propaganda video set to Ride of the Valkyries style music, that proves that the root cause of our economic woes are those people in the ghetto?  Yes, I am worried too, but for a different reason than you, Michael.

Michael can fill us in perhaps but I heard that the French have proposed some kind of fix and the Germans said no. Nothing new here....... Cool It's harder to get something like this done in Europe but I wonder if it's too easy here....
