BTW, I am Italian, But, I am an American Italian.....Not the other way around!!!!!

I always thought being an Italian American meant your were an American of Italian decent since the American would be a noun and Italian would be the adjective describing the kind of American.

So, wouldnt an American Italian be a person who identifies themself as an Italian who happens to be of American decent?

Help me those who are stronger in the grammar.  Knowing Jonny a little, I think he would be more correctly self-defined as an Italian American

You've overstayed your welcome since the day we met but it doesn't seem to matter to you.  No medications are your master, nothing makes you fret, it's a helpless feeling having nothing I can do

And he also knows what I meant, he just likes to......ummm...Lets just say he needs to wash his pu$$y because it stinks!  Kiss

Im really not sure what you are saying here but it doesnt sound like a compliment.  So, maybe next time I should just let my friend Jonny tell the whole board that he doesnt consider himself an American first the way people who like to be called African American do.

If you honestly think I want to start crap with you, you don't know me very well.  I was honestly asking a question and you were the one to make a rude comment about me.

(editted to add)  I never called you anti-american.  In fact, I did say I thought you didn't mean it that way.  Read my comments again, all I said was that you made an incorrect statement I didn't think you meant and you were the one who made a rude comment about me.  I am also Jewish so please don't lecture me about respecting this topic.  YOU WERE THE ONE to start calling people names here, not me.  My comment was that you DIDNT mean what you said.

fubar:  I have met Jonny in person and up until his latest reply I thought Jonny knew me better.  I was not calling him un-American.  I was saying that next time I shouldn't correct him from making a statement he didn't mean to make.  also, I think Jonny can defend himself especially against me,. because I WAS NOT ATTACKING HIM.

This is unreal.

FramCire, I didn't mean to start something.  Your post made it sound like Jonny didn't think of himself as American first, which you know, I know, and everybody knows isn't true.  That's what made me respond.  Even looking at it again, it's an easy mistake to make.
