Moratorium.

Couldn't resist, I guess, but I got peripherally involved in a few political threads here.  I usually try not to do that.  While I'm not shy about mixing it up politically elsewhere, it's really not why I'm here, nor is it what I want to do here.

Just me, but I think I'm going to back off the political stuff.  The purpose of political discourse is to persuade--not to assert, and I'm afraid that, in my case, the assertin's been overtaking the persuadin'.  I think I'll put my political self (here, at least) in remission.

However our once-every-four-years national paroxysm turns out this year, at the end of things we're all going to muddle through somehow, and we'll all still be Americans at the end of the day.

My best to all of you.

George
