My husband is unsupportive...

of my ever-changing political backing. Grin

He came home and I told him who I am now supporting.  He said, "you didn't get another sign, did you?".  I said "yup and I don't care what you think".

He didn't take that too fondly... Embarrassed

I think that it's great that you are actually looking past the media farce called our "election" and making an INFORMED decision!

Well thank you Thomas, you're very sweet.

I just wish Jesse was more passionate about these things, but he tends to not get involved unless it is directly affecting him THIS MINUTE. Roll Eyes

LOL>.Melly, wouldja like me to send you some of my LOCAL campaign signs? You could plonk them in your yard and REALLY confuse the guy!

Personally, I hate the yard sign thing. They are too easy to confuse with the for sale signs, and I cannot find the houses that are for sale for the houses that are telling me how to vote! (like anyone can tell me what to do) !

Don't tell anyone, coz I never share my political views, but........
I'mVoting for Alfred E Neumann....I like to laugh, to me, it's a good platform.

lmao Cathi!!

You know what's funny?  This is the very first time in my life I ever put a sign in my yard showing who I'm supporting.

Is this a crash course or what? lol

It's known as "getting involved".  While I may not agree with you - I'm very proud of you for getting involved in something you believe in.

good going Mel -- and don't worry about that guy who lives with ya... he'll get over it (mine always did Smiley ).

Hugs BD

It is good to get involved, but I personally think that who I vote for is private. I am kind of with your husband on this one. I will be happy when its all over and there is something new to talk about. I mean every where there are signs, you can't turn the TV on without hearing it, you can't read a web site without seeing something about it.
Its important that is a fact, it will change the world as we know it no matter which way it goes.

Again I am proud you have gotten into this. It's good to do. It shows you care. There are some who will vote and don't even know what issues the person stands for. Some will vote because of the color, because of a woman, some will vote stright ticket because of the party they like. They won't vote on the issues. These are the people that piss me off.

Kiss your husband. He loves you Mel.
