No relation. Economists for Obama is a partisan site created this year for one purpose. The Economist magazine has been around a long while, and they chose 600+ people they thought were top economists and mailed them a survey. They have been that every 4 years for the past several elections.

I have a feeling that would be the case in ALL fifty states. Jimi, what would it be in your state?
