We were at $2.29 when I took Andrea into Asheville yesterday.  Hope it keeps going down to what it was when moved to Omaha 5 years ago - $1.53

I can dream....

$1.95 here today.  Every few days it is getting a couple cents cheaper.  I'm happy that I can fill my tank up for less than $40.00

This is a really good post to look at from the beginning. We all sounded so excited when we got to the low $3 mark! Now many of us are under $2.00. I paid $1.99 Tuesday. I can fill my little 12 gallon tank with less than $25!! And the prices continue to drop too!!! Cat's $1.53 price doesn't seem like it's out of reach for some of us.

If this keeps up, OPEC will be asking for a bailout.   Grin

Hey, why not?  Everybody else is gettin' one.

Mine's only 32 gallons and I just put in about a 1/2 tank for $1.699 here in Bastrop, TX.

When I left Morro Bay, CA in June it was $4.60 to $4.80.  It hurt even more when I found out that the total taxes on that were more than the oil company was making in profit - but nobody was screaming "windfall" to our Government.........

1.77 when I filled up yesterday PLUS .31 off per gallon.......... $22 for 15 gallons.

I stared at the receipt.  Wondered what year it was.

$1.87 here, plus I got a 20 cents off per gallon up to 20 gallons coupon.  That's a good thing since we got a fricken' foot of snow today and I'll be driving Phil's truck instead of my car.  I love living near Lake Michigan in the summer, but in the winter those dreaded Lake effect snows drive me insane  Cheesy

Canadian price, 0.79 cents PER LITRE. I do not know the conversion to U.S funds. Brew did the conversion for me last time but I forgot the number we X times it by.

Costs us between $45 to $50 bucks to fill the Grand Prix from almost empty. It was up to $65 this past summer. Angry

Chris, I can remember putting $10 bucks in a big ole boat of a car and running for at least two or three road trips on that gas.  Grin

Yup.  .29/9 to .35/9 for a long time, back in the sixties.

Best,

Gas was $1.92 this morning but I was running late so I thought I'd get it after work. It was $1.88 this evening! Who says it doesn't pay to put things off!? I filled up with $20 bill but got back enough change to get a chocolate chip cookie from the Subway counter!

$1.78 today by my house but $1.85 by I94.

Edit to add;

The oil companies are trying hard to make us forget that their $4.00+ prices are what ruined the economy in the first place. Funny how they know what the market can bear, and when they can get away with charging just under the breaking point. Angry
