Almost baby!!  Go Phils

Can't believe the Phillies are 1 in away from the World Series.  Its a sureal feeling for me not seeing a title in this town since I was 7 years old and now they are so close.  This is taking away from most of my free time and haven't even visited you guys in several days.  Losing sleep with the late games.  ITS ALL WORTH IT SO FAR.

Not sure how this is happening.  I don't think they have even played that well in the playoffs.  Maybe the stars are aligned just right.
Where are my fellow Philadelphians???

Anyone stay up to see 40 year old Matt Stairs crush that ball?

I am rooting for the Phillies this time around.

Your guys beat the snot out of the Brewers, so it would be nice to say we were beaten by the best . . .

(holding my nose and yelling)   "GO PHILLIES!" Cheesy

I'm going to try my best to watch the game tonight but with a 3:00 AM wake up call for work, I don't think it's going to happen.  Fingers crossed that the Phillies win.

I miss Kruk (my favorite baseball player of all time!!!), Daulton, Dykstra, Eisenreich and of course, who could ever forget Mitch Williams....I think I aged about 20 years every time he pitched.  That team had the greatest group of characters and personalities.

While I was working at CHOP today, I noticed that the kids had been busy making Phillie's posters and many of them are pasted to their hospital room windows so you can see them as you enter the hospital and at The Children's Seashore House......they are sooo cute!!  With fans like that, they have to win!!

Go Phillies!!!!!
