future ex dating an ex gf of mine .....wtf.....so i threw up my hands and just booked myself a 10 day cruise out of new york(where i live) to canada......................an awesome deal though i really dont have the money!i did it in 10 minutes!..geezzzzzzzz, never did anything so spur of the moment like this.................but i am so excited..............will take all my CH stuff, and like my 23 yr old son said"maybe you'll meet a rich man"!!! ONLY TO BUY ME DRINKS I SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am leaving saturday and i can't wait.............the season will allow me beautiful scenery.............son's giving me some spending $ too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i.i need to do this..............................................................

Ted and I are in the process of planning to take a cruise to Alaska next fall to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I have never been on a cruise before and am learning alot. Please, Let me know how you liked it when you get back and things you would have done differently. Have fun and enjoy your vacation!!!!

tks karla.i have been on cruises b4, never by myelf tho! they are not my favorite, however, this was such an amazing deal and i have always wanted to go to canada...........its on Norwegian.............i dont particularly care for them due to many times u r on the boat for a while without visiting a port...but i will be getting off the boat 5 days out of the 10..................so i can explore! and it should be beautiful.........i never pay for the extra excursions, i do them myself, much cheaper! research the many different type of trips u can take to alaska....................will let u know how it is!

Cruises rule...

1) get the best room you are willing to pay for. Higher floors are better, aft is better (my opinion), balcony is a must
2) prepare to gain a lot of weight, they feed you to death
3) whatever you pay for the cruise, plan on spending a lot more... they get you at every turn and drinks are expensive. There are day trips, spas, casinos, drinks, pictures, wine at dinner, LOTS of stuff to tack on to your bill at the end, checking out is a shock to many

absolutely rite, fubar..................yes, u will gain weight if you dont try and eat rite and exercise....................ways to cut around spending alot of $.....................i always do my own exploring, never pay for an excursion.screw the pictures, i bring my own camera.............dont gamble..........so i guess i will be paying for wine and drinks!! whatever it is, i need this, may just stay in canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
