Schools in the northeast
Oct 21st, 2008 at 12:02pm

So... I've been scarce, its that time again and I'm helping my daughter research schools and get through applications.  It's a very involved and time-crunching process.

Now we've just recently been looking at Phillips Andover and Phillips Exeter, and some other schools in the Northeast.  We've looked at the websites, etc., but it would be nice to get some feedback from people either closer to the schools or that have been there or know people who've been there.

If anyone has any feedback it would be so appreciated...the folks at the school she's in haven't been much help unfortunately.
TIA!

Phillips Andover is a great school.  I'd send mine there if I had the $$$.  I live about 20 minutes from the place.

Dennis.. are you really?  We'll be up there late November for tour and interviews.  What do you know of the school?  There are just things you cannot read on a website.

Andover has an amazing financial aid program.  It's competitive as far as grades because of that though.  I hope she gets in!  It wasn't something I would have considered before she got the scholarship to the school she's in now.

but the process.. its like applying for college.. Smiley
