Forget getting served, the beer taps are closed as every barmaid is glued to the television. Traffic grinds to a halt and telephone lines go dead. Many schools are shut for the day as all Australia holds its collective breath -

The ladies use one hand to hold their hats on in the breeze, one hand to hold their skirts closed in the breeze and one hand to carry unbelievably expective cocktails while walking on the turf in stilettos. Wouldn't miss it for quids. (Mad Rush to win.)
