Not everyone loves B&W photos like I do, but here is one that I like. Computer monitors don't render B&W very well, but it's stunning when you see it in person. Printed 22" wide on Endura Metallic paper – the whites appear sort of a shimmery pearlescent silver.

OK, I'll stop posting so many pictures for awhile!

The very 1st thing that popped into my head when the pic loaded is Stephen King's "The Stand".

I don't know why??

Did you use a filter on that pic, Marc? I always liked to use different filters on the B&W pics, and get different results. Especially where clouds were concerned.

Great pic, BTW!

Fantastic Picture Marc!  One of the marvels of using digital or computer enhancement is that you can really tweek the pictures that are B&W with just adjusting the contrast or brightness!   You have a good eye Brother!

Simply beautiful Marc!  I am a big fan of B&W.  It has the ability to instil a mood which color just cannot convey.  It also gives a contrast which color can't even touch.

Don't stop posting pics!!!!

Beautiful stuff. I love black and white too.

Did it all myself 50 years ago. I never got into very technical stuff but I enjoyed composition.

Nice!

I love Black and white pictures.  That is really neat.

Margi posted a picture one time of her grandchild in the fathers hand. It was beautiful. The black and white pictures really stay in my mind better.
Jackie also sent me some black and white pictures.

I really like the first one!  I love black and white photography and that's what my daughter prefers to shoot.  Do any infrared?
