I miss someone from the boards
Nov 5th, 2008 at 3:43pm

Having an evening off, I was browsing through the boards as it suddenly hit me..... Brew, ex-member.
Well that was a what the hell?-moment!
I've always enjoyed reading his comments and found him to be a great source of both support and humour to the newcomers. And now he's away? What did I miss?
Is he alright? Should I be worried as I am now? Can someone please enlighten me why someone I held in great respect is an ex-member? Like I said, IS HE ALRIGHT?

Worried, Pascal.

Wow.
First of all Oliver, thanx for the link, I must have missed it all. Have been busy, and have not visited this forum as much as I wished to.

Second: I do hope he will come back one day. I consider him to be one of those archetypes of CH.com. He was always there when someone needed a hand or a well put sarcastic comment. Damn, I never met the guy but it really feels like a miss of him not being here.
Never talked to him personally or through mail, but I feel like something's missing with him gone.  Sad
One thing I do not have to worry about, is he doing something stupid to himself (hard to admit but that was the first thing I thought about, guess you fellow clusterheads know what I'm talking off).

Brew, come baqck again. If not now, then in the future.

Pascal.

Of course not.  Not a chance.  Brew is taking some off from the nastiness around here is all.   Not to worry.   He's just fine.

I miss him too, and so many others. I can understand it, had to do it myself. Deleting the profile when you are upset and mad is a good thing cause you can't post, posting when you are upset or mad isn't a good thing.
The real bad part is when you delete your profile, your email no longer shows up.  I am bad about PMing people instead of email. From now on I am going to start putting peoples addresses in my email address book.

Brew and I did not hit it off well at first,  and some of the things on my first post down right pissed me off at first, being in pain at even a low kip and posting is a bad idea.  I hope that it wasn't anything I did that made him leave it just seems I entered this forum at a bad time for him.  From what I have seen he has been a good person here and I hope he returns soon.   Phil
