Wish I lived on the same planet.
Thanks.

Thanks Charlie, you DO live on the same planet, and the Adirondacks aren't that far away from you.
The fall colors driving through the Adirondacks is one of the best memories from upstate NY.

Fresh air help a teeny bit? (Hoping you smile and say "yes")

Thank you Marc...I think

The fresh air and taking some time to appreciate life definitely helped - our grief is still very raw - but it was a way to take a bit of the edge off. I'm glad I let Mom talk me into posting and sharing the pics, I normally don't post pics since I never considered myself much of a photographer; I will acquiesce to your 35+ years of experience and believe you on the few bad pictures but lots of bad attitude
Jackie wrote on Nov 8th, 2008 at 7:14pm:I love them, Cat....they are beautiful. Thank you.
Hope your ride, on a beautiful day, soothed your heart.....even if it was just a little.
Love ya, Sweetie,
Jackie (your other Mom)
Thanks Mom

It did a whole lot of good just to get out, and I love being close to nature, and the day was beautiful. It is still too soon for us to stop crying yet, but it did help to soothe our hearts, and even if it was just a little, I'll take every little bit I can get. I'm glad we went out and I'm glad I listened to you and went ahead & posted the pics to share

All my love, and give a big kiss and hug to Dad too

The daughter you didn't have

I wanna come riding with you, I'm jealousy. You do have some gorgeous pictures there (especially the foggy one and the last one).
Carolyn
Oh Carolyn, thank you so much. You can come on out here and ride along anytime you like! I haven't a clue what I'm doing when it comes to photography, I just look around and point and click at whatever I think is pretty hehe. I will put up another album with all the others I took that same morning with the fog, it was just so kewl that morning; as for the last one, well there was a house on either side of the pond so I just took about 5-10 pics of the general area then used the crop feature hehe. Boy do I LOVE digital cameras and being able to snap 5+ pics of every angle I see to try and be sure to get a decent pic - that and I am a big fan of the ZOOM button LOL.
Seriously though, anytime you want to, come on over and we'll go scouring the surrounding mountainsides for you to take pics - I'd love to see more pics of the region from someone who knows what they are doing! hehe I need to talk Vig into posting more

You and Cisco were a match made in heaven and he was such a lucky pup to have had you as his Mom.
Been there, done that, it still hurts but all of my dogs who have passed are still with me in my memory and in my heart.....pawprints last forever.
Hugs to you and your family,
Cyn
Thank you Cyn...your words touched me and made me smile

The vet called us this morning, and she said the same thing to me, and also told us that Cisco was a very special puppy. You are so right, pawprints do last forever. I just keep trying to remind myself of how much joy we had for the 4 short years we had our puppy. It isn't much, but it helps, and I'm taking every little bit I can get right now.
*hugs*
Callico wrote on Nov 8th, 2008 at 9:30pm:Like I told you when you were planning your move, you are in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. Great pics.
Jerry
Oh Jerry, I had no idea just how incredibly beautiful this area was - you completely understated the sheer awesome beauty of this region! It's been a rough time since the move, but the scenery always seems to manage to lift my spirits ... as long as I remember to look at it and not try to drive on the sides of the mountain

HOW BEAUTIFUL!
No no no...no jealousy! You guys just pack the boys up and come on out here for a visit and DJ can turn his camera loose

I promise I'll let Clark drive you around though hehe.
Thanks everyone for your comments on the photos, and for all the kind words and thoughts you have given to us while we come to terms with losing our dear Cisco. It really has made a tremendous difference, I don't know what I'd do without this family

Luv Cat
