That is an amazing picture Marc!!  What kind of camera do you use to get that kind of detail on a close photo like that??

Cat - These were shot with a Nikon D200. The trick is to get close.

Carolyn, to answer your question - I used a mid-range Sigma 100-300 zoom lens - not exactly pro level equipment, but lots of bang for the buck IMO. Smiley It's one of the few lenses that I've kept through the process of downsizing. On the used market, I just couldn't get enough for money out of to justify getting rid of it. All of my expensive stuff is long gone.

I have hundreds of images like these because I too, loved to sit and watch them. That's also the only way to get close. One-foot-at-a-time.

Hmm, Marc, you didn't get them to the dentist????

I have a Canon Powershot AB5 4.0.........annna Kodak Easy Share, my..... err.........images.....Never look quite that good.........

    Marc: what %screen Matte paper would you print your pictures on? I'm using a Xerox Phaser 8400 solid ink Laser printer. And was wondering what you would think is a good paper to print on.
