Checking in with my Second Family!
Nov 9th, 2008 at 1:18pm

Hi all!
I've been reading the boards and my mom has been keeping me updated on all the happenings here too.  Life is very busy right now.  I will be glad when it is graduation...wait didn't I just graduate?
I am 11 days in to my 100 required days of my internship for teaching.  This semester we only go once a week during a full time grad school schedule and I am coaching 10 hrs a week and swimming about 4-5 times a week (read...kick sets, my arm is not quite better from the accident).
I went to Jefferson a month ago and had a nerve block, which seems like it is either wearing off or I am beginning to get allergy/sinus headaches and having a combination of chronic migraine/tension headaches and a few extra shadows, but really everything is under really good control and I couldn't be much happier, and I'm being optimistic that things get better/normal again not worse.
Ok um that's it I should go back to work again.  Hope to catch someone when I sneak in on chat soon.  Smiley
Much love and good wishes to all!!!!!
Lisa

Hey Lisa, I will keep my fingers crossed for you that everything settles down soon and you have no more head pain at all.  Glad to see you posting, and try not to work yourself to the bone girl!

Tell your Mom I will call her, I promise, I just have to try and remember - those knocks on the head seem to have played hell with my memory and I remember to call in the mornings, and forget by evening Undecided

Keep on keepin on, you are doing great Smiley

Thanks for checking in Lisa.  Sounds like you have your hands full with productive activities.  I admire your dedication.  Keep up the good work.

As for your head... I hope it doesn't get too bad and settles down soon.

Don't worry, I'll graduate this spring...hmm but then hopefully I will start a family, still be swimming, keep the beast and asthmas under control, and get an M Ed in early childhood education or MA in history!

Hi Sweetie!!!

Wow, after reading all that you are doing, I feel like a slug. Embarrassed  I raked leaves today for about 4 hours and am now walking like Frankenstein.  I'm still trying to find the person who started this whole idea of having to rake leaves each fall and ask him what in the heck he was thinking. Grin

Fingers and toes are crossed for you that things continue to improve.

Thanks for checking in and for the update.

Miss and love ya bunches!!

I don't think we have raked the leaves.  We don't really get grass here because of the dirt...too much sand or something...and too much shade with the trees.  So when the leaves fall we just let them stay and it looks pretty!   Grin
