Hey all!!

So it's been a long week and I honestly was gonna wait until tomorrow to post the results, but damn if you people aren't pushy!! LOL Cheesy

(just kidding)

Dr. Steinberg said (after a three hour wait) everything looks fabulous! He has NO concerns at this point and was very happy with all the test results. His MRI showed no new strokes and the grafts were working well. His right carotid is completely closed (expected), however the grafts and collaterals are doing their jobs!

Dr. Steinberg told us that he has had an incredible increase of Moyamoya patients due to the website. When DJ started the site (in 2003) he saw about 100 or so a year, now he sees over 600 a year!! INCREDIBLE!! It truly is a testament at how that website reaches the world. He said numerous foreign patients were contacting him as well. (still waiting on that "finders-fee" check) Grin

It was so wonderful seeing Linda and Jim! We had a wonderful time at the Winchester House and a great dinner. Like the pictures illustrated, Brandon checked out at dinner...still on Central time! I will post pictures when we get home and settle back in.

Since we got a clean bill of health we are headed back to Tornado Alley tomorrow. Thank you again for all the thoughts and prayers this week! You all are a blessing to our family.
