Success! We found the "Wii Dance Revolution 2" at Wally World right here in town, no traveling to find it! Wink Fun to watch Angie shake her "booty" with this one  Grin

Mel, here is a pic of my lunch, it is "Beef Teriyaki Bento Boat" and Angie had the chicken. Very healthy lunch and so good. This place was voted as one of the top ten restaurants in Canada, and quite affordable.

That lunch looks good.  I still haven't gotten a workout in.  I'm thinking about it.  I just spent and hour on the phone with my aunt and I was pacing the whole time.  I've also been doing some cleaning and laundry.

Thank you Jonny for your encouraging words, makes me want to work out more. Grin

Barry and Phil, quit watching, no more comments from the peanut gallery, put your money where your mouths are and try and keep up. Smiley

Dance Revolution is so tough, can't get past 20 secs. No coordination. Will try later today.

I have 20lbs to go. Ya Hoo. Now today is free day. No dieting today.

Well, my weekly weigh-in has me up .5lb, but that's OK!  I have an excuse!  LOL!

I did my biking this morning only each time I get on there now, my shoulders just kill me so I end up just peddeling. Undecided  I'm almost wanting to modify my bike by taking the metal connectors off and having Jesse solder the hand extensions so they're stationary. Grin

Oh, and that danged Lily let loose where the box of candybars is from Halloween!!  Shame on her!  lol

How's everyone doing today? Smiley

Does any one know if diet sodas really do cause you to not loose weight?  I am on day three of trying to give it up.  It is the only thing that I can attribute my lack of weight loss to!  I drink coffee in the morning and then go straight to Diet Coke.  I have been replacing the DC with water since Sun.  Haven't had a drop of soda since Sat.  It is killing me!  If I don't see results soon I'm giving up!

Hey Jeannie,

I don't think diet drinks will help lose weight because there's still a heck of a lot of sugar in them, just in a different form. Water is def your best bet!!

I was told that when your body gets used to an exercise, it stops burning lots of calories. Maybe you just need a little change in the routine - 20 min power walk or a bit of a swim. I was doing a body combat class and in the 1st 6 weeks, lost 2lbs every week, then after that I lost nothing because my body got used to it. When I get back on the wagon this week, I'll be trying 2 different types of exercise to maintain the weight loss. I've also signed up for WeightWatchers. Want to lost about 20 - 25 lbs sharpish. That'll get me back to 125lbs. By the wedding?? Prob not, but one can hope!!

Em
xx

PS - I found the most amazing bakery here. 2 days in a row, we've had cakes and pastries. I'm too weak!!! Can't wait to go to work so I can take my mind off eating!

Okay ladies, I'm soooo pissed.  I got home from work this morning and was going to turn on the Wii and nothing.  Phil told me that our power went out last night and something happened to my Wii.  He tried to take it back to the store, but they said that it's been over seven days and they won't take it back.  They told us to leave it unplugged for 24 hours and maybe it would reset itself.  WTF?????  It better work.

Anyway, I'm trying to get my fat ass motivated to get off the couch and hop on the elliptical.  It just isn't as much fun as the Wii.  Anybody have some extra motivation for me?  I really need some.

Jeannie, if you ask me, diet sodas are even worse than regular.  Besides, the artificial sweeteners can stall some people.

Jen- that really rots!  What store did you get it from?  I never heard of an only 7 day one, I thought the usual was 30 days??

We got it at Game Stop.  If that thing doesn't work tomorrow when we plug it back in I'm gonna raise hell.  I'm so irritated right now.  I guess I should use that irritation and put it to good use.  I'm gonna hop on that ellipictal right now  Wink

Jen, A saying we have "the squeaky wheel gets the grease." I work in retail, here in Canada and we have a 30 day warranty in store for everything. After 30 days the customer goes to the manufacturer, this case Nintendo.

Keep us posted on what happens.

Just did 30 minutes on the Wii, very slowly dropping my BMI.
