Go, Mel, Go!!!!!!

I played on that Wii for 45 minutes yesterday.  Holy smokes am I sore.  It was all that hula hooping.  My hip feels like it belongs to a 90 year old.  I haven't gotten up enough energy yet today to do some more.  I was up for a about an hour and half this morning with Maggie having her puppies.  I couldn't stay awake so Phil stayed with her and I went back to bed.

As soon as I get moving I'll let you know how I did today.

All this talk about exercises makes me feel bad for taking a few days off from mine - and I do only yoga! Grin

But I've been walking and standing every day at work, sooccasionally my feet are killing me... That's my excuse! Wink

Keep on going, girls! Smiley

Hi Sanna.  You need to take days off every once in a while.  It's good for the body to get rest.

I believe that yoga is a very difficult workout.  I've tried it so many times and I totally suck at it.  Plus my balance is so far off, which is why I have such a hard time with it.

Sanna, don't feel bad!  I am quite a sedentary person, so I really have to push myself to put in some kind of routine.  I have decided that I'm going to just stick to the every other day thing though, I don't want to burn myself out right off the bat!

Jen, doesn't your Wii have the yoga thing too?  Try that out and tell me how it goes, lol. Wink

Yep it has the yoga thing on it.  I did all of the poses that I have unlocked and I didn't do to bad.  I need more practice.

I spent 61 minutes on that thing today.  I did hula hooping, boxing, step, balance excercises, strength exercises and yoga.

I'm gonna be very sore tomorrow  Wink

Yuck!!!!! Snow should be made into a cuss word.  Shoveling that wet stuff can be quite a workout, and you got a foot of it!!!!!  Yikes, your muscles must be burning  Wink

If I do any working out today it won't be much.  That Wii is making me hurt in places I didn't know that I could hurt.  That must mean I'm getting a good workout  Cheesy

I haven't tried the long distance run yet, the short one about killed me the other night when I did it.

It IS a cuss word in my house.  Not having a garage makes it even worse in the winter with the arthritis in my spine.  Living in an apartment complex, the parking lot and sidewalks are cleared by the owner, but the pain from cleaning off the Aztek alone takes it's toll on me.

I feel ya Redd about not having a garage.  Phil and I have lived in this house for almost 7 years and this will be the first year that I have a garage, thanks to all of his hard work putting an addition on the house.  I drive the truck most of the time in the winter and all I can say is thank God for remote start.  It saves me a lot of brushing.

Phil just made me the hugest breakfast sandwich I've ever had.  It had two eggs, bacon, ham and three slices of cheese on white bread.  It was soooooo good.  I'll make up for it by having a very small dinner and maybe a few minutes on the Wii  Wink

Some real "50s style" eatin' going on here. Like my lasagna, for lunch. Slurp.

I have a garage but since I don't have a car, all my friends use it for their crap. I should be charging them for keeping my driveway clear. We're getting some very wet snow.........the kind even I don't like.  Angry

You know, if we're gonna have snow, let it be a record of some kind so the Weather Channel and CNN will do remotes. Western NY could use some national exposure......I know I'm insane and I like it. Well, the results of my 1st week back to exercising is a weight loss of 2.5lbs.  I am very happy about it and hope I can keep up the momentum as I am hoping to get into a size 12 jeans before our trip to Los Angeles in April (to see my brother-in-law Matt get off the plane from Iraq!!!). Smiley

How ya'll doin today?

p.s. Charlie you're goofy, lol.

I got home from work and thought what the hell, I'll get a little bit of working out before I go to bed.  So I worked out for about 20 minutes and did the body test on the Wii and I'm convinced that the damn thing hates me.  It told me that I gained 3.1 pounds  Cry  Must've been that sandwich I ate yesterday.

Hopefully, I will get a little more working out in when I get up in about 9 hours.  I obviously need it  Cry

Congrats you guys on the weight loss, I'm sooooo proud of you  Smiley

Welcome to the CH weight loss club Mast, we're happy to have you  Kiss
