Well, I really, really didn't want to do it, but somehow I dragged my ass onto my bike this morning.  Afterwards I took a bath and relaxed with the jets going.  I've been doing that quite a bit lately. Undecided

Anyway, I'm finding it twice as hard to get the steam up to exercise while in cycle!! Sad

I was just too spent to do any biking today, so I didn't.  I also got my wheat free/sugar free cookbooks in the mail, and I can't even get excited about them because my head is so screwed up. Sad

This sucks!

I hope you gals are doing well though, I hope to get going better once I have my O2!

Mel,

I'm sorry you are having a hard time.  I can't exercise either when I am in a full blown cycle.  It is a trigger for me....not while I exercise but a little bit after I stop.  Throw a little bit of Pred in there and I am done for.  I think that is where the extra pounds I am carrying around now came from.  It does suck and I feel for you.  Hang in there! 

I hope your hits let up soon.

Things not going well for me here either, though I'm still doing the meal replacement. Going to weigh myself on Sat - 1st time in 2 weeks, so we'll see if there's been any change. Hope so...

I think I'll be swimming on Saturday next. I just have no motivation right now. Feeling a bit rubbish through and through. I know that they exercise will help, but it's such an effort.

Apparently, the week just passed was THE most miserable week of the year because you start to give up on the New Year's resolutions and you feel you have nothing to look forward to. Well, with my wedding in 6 weeks, I need to get shifting these lbs. So girls,

Barry here. I bought Angie the "Wii Winter Sports 2" yesterday and she is just trying it out right now. The 2-man bobsled is way too cool! Cool Many others on this disc.

Angie just reported that the bobsled one is really hard on the legs!  Cheesy

I have the first version of that! It's great.

I find the speed skating tough on the arms. Good for working the bingo wings though!

Looks like I may have to get a new game for the Wii.

I haven't left you guys, I promise.  I'm still healing and am limited to how much I'm allowed to do with my right arm.  I did get a good 40 minute cardio dance workout in.  Nothing like making me feel like and uncoordinated freak!!!!!!

Ha ha!! I feel like that just walking down the street though...

I have cheated just a little and bought some spanx for under my wedding dress! They are amazing!! And let's be honest, the wedding night isn't going to be magical, with me dancing to 80's music til 2 and him drunk on sambuca, so I can wear what I want. All girls should have spanx!!

And for those who don't know what bingo wings are, here's some motivation to get you working those triceps (and shaving your armpits after looking a little closer at that pic)!!!

Yikes!   Thanks for the motivation.   I have started weight training now along with the cycling classes.  I am down about 7 lbs.   Only 20 more to go!   I am stuck though!  I can't seem to get below where I am right now.

I also just found this website through iVillage and thought maybe you might be interested. It's a 6 week challenge, but I'm jsut going to print out the week by week exercise plan and try it out. Got some good tips and doesn't take LOADS of time!

ok ... not in cycle, NOT SMOKING, not making excuses anymore... hit the gym yesterday for some raquetball and laps around the track.

Taking the vitamins to keep from snacking and planning that back-to-bikini bod by April!   (thats the plan anyway  lol)

Lets get to it!

Mel I think about you all the time and keep hoping that this cycle is over for you.  Hang in there sweetie, I'm still sending vibes and prayers at you over the lake.

I went to the doc this morning and he lifted my weight and range restrictions.  He told me to go slow and not to over do it.  He doesn't know me very well, LOL!!!!!  I'm taking a day off today, but will be back at it tomorrow.  I gotta get rid of this gut so I can proudly wear a bikini this summer, if summer ever comes to Michigan  Wink

I've got bikini time starting on March 8th! I tried them on last night. If I could lost 6-8 lbs then I reckon they'd be ok.

Got to keep working out and getting rid of the love handles...  Sad

Jen - well done on quitting smoking! That's great news. I've been taking raisins and carrot sticks so I can 'snack' all day but not on junk.

Mel - still sending vibes for this cycle to finish and then you can literally get back on the bike!
