Spare CGA540 to CGA870 Adaptor
Nov 13th, 2008 at 11:15pm

I've finished setting up my O2 tank refill setup and I've ended up with an extra CGA540 to CGA870 adaptor that I don't need. Let me know if you need one and it's yours. I took a picture of it, in case you're not sure:

CAUTION:  Do NOT smoke when using or around oxygen.  Oxygen can permeate your clothing or bedding.  Wait, before lighting cigarette or flame.

Keep fire extinguisher available, and charged.

I put it up here, to avoid eating up more of DJ's bandwidth:

There are 5 pages because I started with the really basic information, then proceeded from there.

There are shorter paths to take, but I wanted to be able to use/breath/refill all welding and medical oxygen tanks. That's why I set it up this way. When you are on the road, it is MUCH easier to find someone with a welding tank than a medical tank!!

(Thank you Chuck for letting me steal your CGA870regulator picture!  Smiley

And...... with a CGA540 regulator, you can pop it right on a welding tank in emergencies. Once you start looking for them, you will see O2 welding tanks everywhere. Think about it: repair shops of all types, people's garages, construction sites, etc.  I've gotten a hotel maintenance man to look the other way while I hooked up to his tank for 10 minutes.

I carry a little printed Cluster Card that explains a very little bit about why we need O2 NOW and that we'll talk later it.
