Had a phone call a little while ago from a nice man from this board. We talked for a LONG time and I don't know if he called for me to cheer him or or if he called to cheer me up, but I'm sure cheered up.

Dennis and I talked for a long time and solved most of the world problems (ya'll can take the rest of the day off ).

It always amazes me what talking to a clusterbud can do for your attitude and well-being. Yesterday Chuck (well, the less said about that old grouch the better ) and today Dennis. I really can't tell you guys how "special" I feel right now. I felt blah and now I'm all cheered up.

I'm trying to say somethin' here and not doing a very good job of it. Over the years there have been those special people around who do "little" things that make so much difference. I've received cards when no one could possibably know I needed a "pick me up", but someone did. A phone call out of the clear blue at a time when I needed a kick in the rear (did I send out a vibe or what - how did they know?).

For some of you who are new to this board, don't be misled by the bickering and arguing that goes on. When push comes to shove, we ARE one big family and we're here to support each other.

Barbara, such a nice message to read, and such a nice message to "hear."  !!!

I'm very thankful to this board and so many people here.  Because of this site we were able to get Gary finally properly diagnosed.   When I reached out, people reached right back.  I feel a little bit like the reclusive neighbor - because that's who I am - but I appreciate the bonds that people form in this electronic community - and happy for all of you who have gotten to know the "real people" behind the words on the screen.

I was reticent to come back after being the object of some of the scorn or derision that gets expressed here because of decisions my clusterhead made and the way I handled that as his supporter.    But there ARE so many wonderful people here, and I appreciate the opportunity to give back to a community that has given so much to me over these past couple of years. 

I guess the bickering and arguing is simply a testament to the fact that it IS one big family.   

I, for one, am looking forward to taking the rest of the day off, so thank you for solving the world's problems!  And see?  Just LOOK at what this community can do!
