To Andy, her husband, and all of Clusterville:

I guess all of this started with me.  I am at fault for starting this feeding frenzy.

Andy, I am sorry, and I was wrong for what I did, and said.  I guess I can think of several reasons excuses, but in reality, there is not a valid excuse for being so mean and cruel.

The only thing I ask you to take in consideration is that I have gone through probably the worse three days of clusters, due to the low pressure system, that has been hanging around.

My only question, now, is: Do I leave the posts alone, to show how stupid I (we) can be, or go back and remove all my posts on this thread?

Andy, I am VERY sorry, and deeply ashamed for my actions and words.

Chuck

I haven't had a drink of alcohol in 8 years in fear of them returning. Does anybody know if alcohol is connected?

Andy,  I'm a recovering alcoholic and a 38 year episodic clusterhead.  Back in my drinking days I would have a cluster cycle every 8 to 9 months.  When I stopped drinking, 18 years ago, my pain free periods immediately jumped to two years and have gradually grown longer (last one 3 yrs. 3 mos.).

Was it stopping drinking or just getting older that caused the change?  Don't really know.

I agree. This newbee tripped and you guys all ran over and started kicking her in the face. Too many self-important, self-ordained troll experts here to suit me. I am starting to see way too much of this when new people arrive.  Angry

  I agree with Jimi wholeheartedly.

What we say constantly -- What works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. We ALL need to remember that....

When this board started over 10 years ago we were all looking for HELP and most of us got it. We've gotten excited over things we've HEARD MIGHT work (remember hot sauce under the tongue, banana peels around the head - hell we've had some doozies posted). We've laughed about some, but NEVER did we disc someone when they had PF time from something.

And YES, we're gonna get our share of trolls trying to sell us the Brooklyn Bridge, but we've always taken them with a grain of salt. Lately it's getting downright scarey.

I can still remember when I came here 10 years ago -- I was DESPERATE for HELP and thank goodness I got it THEN. Or else I wouldn't be here to try to help others today.

Hugs BD

Honey, you don't know what real insults are!

Isn't this just special. We're going to get lessons o how to insult properly.

Just like you don't know what real cluster headaches are!

Are you so dumb that you think you are the first person on this site to drink Pepsi?

If you read her post, you'll see that she isn't the first. That she actually learned the tip HERE, from someone else. She didn't say she was the first. Want to take back, or own, the "dumb" part?

Maybe you can fool yourself into thinking that you actually had clusters, and that Pepsi cured it.  Go right ahead, just don't try and push that bullshit story here, OK?

So you're going to diagnose her based upon what helps her? You of all people are going to question someone that says they have clusters?

I guess we WERE due to get another snake oil quack in here ...

Snake oil? This post has nothing in common with snake oil salesman posts. Were you just digging deep into your bag of insults? If so, you pulled out an inappropriate one.

Andy, try to learn what a paragraph is.

People ending their sentences with the word is, should not be correcting other people's grammer.

Enjoy your life.

Enjoy your Pepsi.

Bob, simply awesome.  I wish there were more calling others on belligerence.  The more it gets pointed out the less it will happen, I would hope anyway.

All I can say to this thread is get some O2 to go with you Pepsi.

Instead of tearing down and belittling new victims of CH, I just push the O2 until they get curios enough to give it a try.

I am at a loss to understand all the bulling and mean spirited posts directed at new members who don’t yet understand what we are supposed to be about here.

Never happen Thomas. Although it's a good thought.

Andy H... good for you that the Pepsi works. It's probably the caffeine in it that helps. Most of us keep some form of it around to use... strong coffee, energy drinks that have caffeine and taurine in them, diet Coke, or other caffeine loaded drinks. If the Pepsi stops, try an energy drink, and also check into getting Oxygen. That works to stop a hit very fast for most people.

Andy,

I too am sorry for my comments.  I guess I was acting like a child trying to fit in.

I truly am glad for you that you are pain free and I hope you never have another second of pain again.

After putting on the spectacles and rereading the original post there was only one question in my mind. Why would someone who was episodic for 3 years (I am assuming this means from 5-8 years ago?) come back here to share this info so many years later?

First posts are almost always started with “this shit is killing me” or something like that.
I guess all I wonder is what’s the motivation for it and why half a decade later?
