So

here goes an attempt to do SOMETHING - ANYTHING for my friend that helped me realize that my life with clusters was still worth something; no matter how tough our times get; we MUST ALL BATTLE TO WIN

Svenn, I don't know what else to do, but know that after talking to you just now, I'm sitting here with a heavy heart, wanting to help in some way.....................I think this might, at least I hope it does.

..............this is something back from the days of Nashville Convention..............from a clusterville angel contest that some of you may not know about......what follow are some parts of my cluster angel letter

anyway Svenn; go read your wall please..............

"My "angel" is none other than Svenn Thorn.

Of course, with a name like Svenn, and being from Norway, I readily assumed him to look like what I first imagined. A nice, tall, slim, blonde Viking !!!! Whew, was I fooled............................................

..........................It's a friendship that involves much more than lending an ear for support during a ch cycle. It's funny how we know right away when chatting if something is wrong with the other person........................

.....................We've shared stories about each of our families and have come to know more about them than just their names. My entire family, including my mother and father (who still think I'm nuts) know about my friend from Norway......................

...................................We've shared with each other about our ch pain, our family news.....................

...........we share ideas of what to buy for birthdays, details of special occassions, holiday celebrations, and even why NOT to buy socks for presents.................................

............we also agree to disagree with certain customs of our different countries...............

........we can be quite candid with one another and offer advice that is not always what the other wants to hear................

..........The two of us are buddies, and I sometimes think that I no longer have the need for my chat name of "needabuddy" that I created that lonely, painful night back in 2001.......

.............We are cluster BUDDIES, which are going to get the chance to meet in person for convention in Nashville ..............

............It is something we often spoke of, or rather dreamed of..................

.............my "clusterville angel" will be flying to Americ in July !!

AND THAT my friend was a year to remember for me and you always.

So Svenn, just remember back to Nashville, and feel our hugs again.

Svenn, you probably don't know me, but hopefully that doesn't matter. Ever since I read that first post about your fight, you and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers. My Gary just fought this fight, and it is still a battle (his detox was early Sep). My heart really goes out to you, and I am thankful that you have this community of people to turn to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
