It's just so poignant, it really moves me

I have a friend who is due in the next week or so (she will be induced) She found out she had cancer at her first scan, saw her baby and her lump all on the same day. She chose to defer treatment to have this baby but she already has a two year old son and it's very tough. She doesn't know how long she'll have to get to know her daughter or what.. its heartbreaking.

Please keep her, her husband and especially her children in your prayers. It's something I'm finding so tough to deal with. If I was given a choice today between a cure for cancer or a cure for CH then I'm sorry - we'd all be still taking hits.

This was my point when I posted last week about a "cure" There are so may people with life threatening illness who muddle through a downhill struggle with life. As bad as I can imagine the pain is of CH, I agree that I would love to see a cure for so many life threatening illnesses.

Helen, I am so sorry for your friends cancer. I have a very good friend in maybe her 5th year of remission. It's a hard road and it's not totally over but we can hope for the best for all cancer sufferers. The numbers are improving. Let's hope for the best for your friend too!

Helen, I'll pray for your friend and friend's family.  Could you please post her first name or PM it to me?  It helps for me to have a name.

Thank you,

Ray
