Happy Thanksgiving...
Nov 26th, 2008 at 6:21am

May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have never a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Hugs BD

I'll be stuffing it down,
The cookies and pies,
Stalking the table
With wide open eyes.

'Course there's the turkey
aside pooled mashed pertaters,
Oh pass me that there
And those beltbustulators.

But first we give thanks,
A short pause for praying,
A blessing for all
To forget the Lions are playing.

A happy and joyful thanksgiving to all.

Personally, I will be saying a thanks to DJ and this site.  The lives saved that will still be here to enjoy thanksgiving.  We may never know how many people have come to strive to survive just one more hour, one more day, one more month...those are the people that need us the most.

Lets remember why this site is here, and give thanks that it has done the good it has.  I am one of those people who 6 years ago was on my way 'out' - then I found my family here.  I wish you all prosperity, pain free days and love in your hearts.

My daughter is working in London right now, and she intends to do a Thanskgiving dinner, no matter how your London markets conspire against her attempts to purchase the necassary ingredients!!! Grin Grin

(Or so she claims!!) So there'll be a little bit of Thanksgiving on yer side of the pond!! Have a peaceful day over there.

Let's see...

Made the pumpkin pies yesterday, and the fresh cranberries.

Went to the "outlaws" house (EJ's sister's place) last night to participate in the annual "dressing party", where we make a huge batch of stuffing to be distributed to everyone's household...and drink martinis.

Putting the turkey in brine as we speak--

Got lots of stuff to bake, simmer, and boil tomorrow, but that's okay--Ellen will help me out, and there's nothing I like more than making TG dinner with my kid.   Wink

Hope all the rest of you 'Mericans have as nice a holiday tomorrow as I plan to.

Happy Thanksgiving.

All the best,

George

Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Houston, the buzzard has landed in the oven.

I’m thankful all 16 guests will make it safely (good roads).

I would really be thankful if they hung around to clean up the mess afterward.

It’s nice to have family over but we live in the middle of the spread, and end up doing all the holiday meals (and cleanup)…

Happy T-day to one and all,

Roland. Smiley

I'm Thankful that the kids are home with me today.  That the turkey is thawed and coming to room temperature as I type this.  That I have enough tupperware to put all the leftovers in, and enough room in the deep freezer for it too.... Cheesy

Eat hearty my friends.

Thanks to allya yuz. I learned a lot about cooking here....not that I dare deal with it. I let the cousins handle that and I bring some non-lethal stuff. They let me crave carve.

Everyone have a great day and and thanks for making me smile, kids!

 Happy turkey day to all!!
