Moms!  Gotta love 'em, but just like we drove them nuts as kids - well - it's their turn now.

I really hope she didn't do ANY damage, and that now she understands she should take those pills!   Smiley

Keeping up the prayers (and vibes!).

Elaine

I am so sorry. My Gran pulled a similar stunt with her drugs. She took the drugs which made her pee because she didn't like having swollen ankles from the fluid but she stopped taking the extra potassium K pills she had to have as well. Result was an emergency and very scary ER visit for heart problems!

She did take her drugs as required after that scare though and we bought her a special 7 day pill box with the days of the week printed on it and made sure it was loaded each week so she just took them by rote. It worked very well until she needed permanent care.

W

A funny additional story though: Before we bought her the special pill box she laid the pills on her bedside table and our visiting dog got one without us knowing. About an hour later very small dog released a phenomenal tidal wave of pee all over the floor! (not funny really but was at the time)

Catching up here Elaine.

Hoping your mom is doing okay.

I'm a little symapathic to your mom. I'm not crazy about the side-effects of the handful of pharmaceutical wonders I'm forced to take every day. They can be PITAs.
