Supper was sausage soup and I had blueberries for dessert.

Anything that comes in a box not too hard to open. I've been too sick with something flu-like for 4 days to get creative. Lots of Alka Seltzer cold medicine, though, and sit in front of the TV watching House marathons. It's good to see others in bad shape too......although I don't have some kind of exposure to Amazonian tree frog ticks, or the like, as his patients.  Cool

Meatloaf
Mashed potatoes with roasted garlic
Fresh spinach sauteed in olive oil & roasted garlic
Red wine, a syrah, or malbec probably!

Fresh blackberries with whipped cream

Devils Food Bundt Cake with homemade icing, which I have turned the color of SKY BLUE

Was one of those rainy days here, warm too, like 60, but damp,  weird, when the other day it was 15! A good cooking day!

Hot dish made with rice-a-roni with huge chunks of left over roasted Chix from Sunday and green beans on the side.  That carcus was picked clean I tell you...

Pepto Bismol, Ibuprofen a hot toddy and an early bed time tonight thanks (NOT!!) to all the bugger nosed, sneezing little kids at the hospital where I work.  The little crumb snatchers are so cute but damn, they are germ carriers on two legs.......grrrr.

They don't have to be little to be crumb crushing germ carriers.  JrBrew's sick, brought it home, and now Brew's getting it, too . . . .

Pat,

I really miss Brew telling us about a "crusty bread"  with the meal.

I really miss your Hubby's posts, but I understand.

Tell him Jimmers said "Hey"
