Print out some pictures and create a montage. Make a frame with your own hands and materials. Guaranteed to work if not already tried! Best, Roland. Wink

I was thinking more along the lines of a lawn mower.

I'm sure that anything that sparkles and is expensive will do just fine!

Thanks but, she has more diamonds than the royal family and we buy what ever we want so expensive stuff has no real appeal any more.

Those Lexus ads...... "A December to remember." Don't forget the bow.

Thanks but she always has the new car of her choice.

Print out some pictures and create a montage. Make a frame with your own hands and materials. Guaranteed to work if not already tried!

Thank you...I am feelin this one...great idea!

A gift certificate for a massage. My wife loves that gift!

She is not a fan of pampering and spa treatments and such...great idea for most people though.

A vacuum cleaner

= divorce court...   and same goes for lawn mower

Thanks again Roland for your idea....some of these other guys need your help too or they are going to be in big trouble....especially the guy in Bracebridge! haha

Any and all other thoughtful ideas most welcome.

Paul,
Gil writes me a letter every year. It means more to me than any gift he could buy. I have a small album he bought one year, just big enough to hold the letters. He is not a man of words, so, for him to do this truly touches me heart.
Perhaps a collage framing some wonderful words??

Just a thought......

The men's ideas would make any woman swoon... Huh

Ask her best friend - get something she needs and something she wants.  And I don't think a lawn mower is the right road to take at this particular juncture...LMAO.

Also, how much are you willing to spend?  That might help us out a bit here.  My friend is having another friend make a bouquet of roses made with $100 bills.  12 of them...now that's what i'm talking about -  romantic, practical, and she can get what she wants (and i'm sure she'll show him how very grateful she is later on that night).

Good Luck,
Langa

Okay, I'll be serious now.

One of my favorite gifts that I have ever received from my husband was a poem that he wrote for me and then framed.  It hangs on the wall in our living room.  It means the world to me!

I love you Potter!!    I got a Dyson for Christmas 4 years ago and I LOVED IT - still do.  And it does so sparkle - it's got glittery purple stuff all over it.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, i would have suggested anything pampering, massage, reflexology, etc, but you said that's a no-go........
I don't know your budget, or if you have little children, but how about a weekend away.........it need not be  have to be far, something "romantic" maybe, but then again I don't know what type of person you are! haha.............I for one believe that memories are far better than material things....................just my 2 cents!
