I woke up and it was snowing, and it snowed until nearly dinner time. There is almost 2 inches of snow, with drifts up to 3 inches. The entire metro area is basically shut down. There is no school tomorrow, everybody is completely socked in. It could take days to dig out from all this mess. Keep us in your thoughts.

Brian, if you and Dianan could snow shoe it over here I have pot roast and cookies:)

My eldest daughter Sarah is only 7 miles away and couldn't make it to dinner Sad

We saw a subaru with a tree on top almost over the edge in to a ravine. It's really icy and we "don't know nuthin bout no snow". I still have a humming bird and we are switching feeders out because it keeps icing over.

Dont' make fun....we're in crisis! They call it "ARTIC BLAST"....lol

LOL! STFU, Chuck! This is about US! The West Coasters who are feeezing our jinglebells off!
It's 4:30am, the temp is 19..we don't drive in this.we can barely WALK in it! The wind has been howling all night long and I am hoping the gusts haven't moved our outside decorations down the street!
We have snow, now ice over the snow, 45 mph winds.and a possibility of a FOOT of snow next Sun.

We make our Mocha Lattes HOT. Much hotter than you are used to.
We dont use umbrellas when it rains.
One of our breweries makes an apricot ale.
Our street sweepers only come by twice a year.
Hell, its so hardcore here, it is illegal to pump your own gasoline. You can pump diesel, but not unleaded.

The list goes on and on. Need I say more?

It snowed here too last night Oregonians.
My lawn was half green and half white.
I made a snow elf from the white stuff on top of the car.
Sirens were going all night long mopping up accidents from folks who don't know what this stuff is.
The tire sales-people are inundated and cannot keep up with the long line of folks trying to buy snow tires.

I have an advantage over everyone in this town however. I lived in Spokane for 2 yrs. I do know how to drive in it. Huh

When you think about it, there aren't many who know what rain is either....so steer clear of moisture that isn't in a pool or shower;)
