This bird sculpture is in Restoration Park in West Monroe. It's at least 16 feet tall and it rotates in the wind and the wings flap.

I also like the 3rd to the last shot of the wet road. I always love the way the earth feels and looks after a rain. Very pretty flowers too! You're making me miss my camera!! LOL (please let Friday come today so I can have it NOW)

I think that what you may be seeing are two of the flowers that got broken. The flowers are/were still very pretty.

Langa,
Those actually are not black and whites, that was the actual color of the day (gray and dreary as hell).

Mel,
Since I can't get the pics to load at home, I'm not sure which one you're talking about.

Helen,
I know you love swamp pics. I just may have to make you a 2010 calendar of nothing but swamp pics Wink
