I was just watching the Weather Channel and it looks like most of the USA is covered with snow. Where it is not covered now it will be tomorrow.
It's been snowing here for about 4 hours and there's about 2 inches on the top of my car and still snowing. Holy crap! We're in the middle of the desert and it's 38 degrees outside.

P.S. I hate friggin' snow and cold.

Snowing most of the day but not much on the ground after the two days of sleet. In the 20s now though and all that nice wet stuff you westerners are sending will turn to lovely snow for the rest of the week. Ahhhh.

ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGH! Bob! We're due to arrive there Dec 29, for New Years!! We've been in the deep freeze all week in Portland, and we were relishing the idea of warmth in our old bones.........so, whaddaya sayin? This messcan't last THAY long, can it?

Oh, why didn't the invent prefect sunshine in LV??

.....so mych for books by the pool...........sheesh!

By Dec 29 it will be clear. We got about 4-5 inches at my house but the sun is coming thru and the melting has started.

No snow on Long Island, a little dusting Tuesday night, but if I believe the "Weather-people", we're supposed to get some tomorrow and possibly Christmas Eve.......................hopefully not too much for I need to travel up-island on the Eve, and people need to travel down-island to my house on Christmas!

Oh, well, doesn't pay to worry, for we have no control over it!

Just by looking I'd say 8 -10 inches so far and the wind is howling and it's still coming down. All the area schools are closed and the plows haven't been by yet. Looks like a hunker-down-chili-in-the-crockpot-kind-of-day!

We've had rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow since midnight.

Wintern storm warning for the area until who knows when Tongue

It's a total mess...schools closed, vehicles sliding off the IN Toll Road and 20 Bypass, jackknifed semis, fender benders by the dozens, power outages, etc.

Looks like our Friday night date-nite may not happen..

Good ole northern Indiana......This sucks!!!!!!!! Angry

We got at least 8 inches since it started snowing this morning at 2:30, and it's still coming down like crazy. I was standing by the window at work watching it come down. The wind is whipping pretty good at 25mph gusting to 35. Lots of drifting. All of the schools are closed and the snow plows can't keep up. It took me about 40 minutes to get home this morning. Even with 4 wheel drive I was scared shitless, because I couldn't see.

I'm just hoping it settles down by Sunday.

Our youngest grandson, Collin, is being Christened. We are having a luncheon afterwards. The God Mother is coming in from DC today. I've done a bunch of planning and preparation.....menu, flowers, etc. It should turn out lovely.....if the weather allows. Let's just pray church doesn't get cancelled. Gotta have this lunchon no matter what.
