Hi all, I got a phone call today from my cardiologist office. They informed me that they have to cancel my stress test for my imitrex clearence because my insurance company (United Health Care) won't approve or pay for it. They told the Doctor he can write a letter of appeal but they will still deny the request. This makes me feel like a pile of dog $#!_*& crap!!! Since I am new to this game, can any one tell me, is this normal for CH sufferers to go through this crap just to get some relief? I am about the end of my rope and my paitence is hanging by a thread. I don't want to snap and loose my temper on someone because then I will look like the not a very nice person! I would love some input on this subject from my new family, YOU! HELP! Thanks Mark.

lots not all but lots of people that have heart problems can not take imitrex any longer.  I would just find another medince to take to deal with the ch such as oxygen.  Good luck also with the letter writting but sorry you have to go through this.
